Great news: more than 10,000 people have now demanded that Republican mayoral candidate Kevin Faulconer repudiate the racist smear attack on his Latino opponent David Alvarez by a local Republican group called The Lincoln Club.
Now it’s time to escalate the pressure — so this Tuesday, February 4 at 11:00 a.m. we’ll help our friends at Courage Campaign and the Alliance for Californians for Community Empowerment deliver thousands of petitions to The Lincoln Club’s doorstep!
Can you join us? It’s important — by attending you’ll help us demonstrate the public’s disgust for racist stereotypes in political campaigns and shame the Lincoln Club into publicly distancing themselves from this dog-whistle racism.

Where: Meet at 642 Third Ave, Suite M, Chula Vista, CA 91910 — we’ll caravan together to the final location.

Thanks for helping to show that cynical tactics like this have no place in electoral politics — no matter which political party is behind them. The Lincoln Club’s actions — depicting a Latino candidate as a menacing gang member — is way bigger than politics. When Latinos are dehumanized it has real effects on our lives, our families, and our communities. Will you join us and our allies in fighting back?
