We’re not going to stand by and let Ted Cruz and his Tea Party cabal hold us hostage to xenophobic extremism.

Will you chip in $3 to help us fight back against Tea Partinos like Ted Cruz?

Dear {{ user.first_name|default:”Friend” }},

We’re not going to let the country drink Ted Cruz’s poisoned tea.

Together, we were able to do what most said was impossible — get the President to take executive action to stop deportations for millions — representing the biggest win of the immigrant rights community in a generation. And it’s got anti-immigrant politicians like Senator Ted Cruz fuming.1

Not only is Senator Cruz already pushing fellow Republicans to shut down the government — but he’s trying to use executive action as a bargaining chip.2

We refuse to allow xenophobes like Ted Cruz to control the immigration debate. The more Congress squabbles over whether the President should have acted or not, the more it will distract the country from talking about what really matters — figuring out a humane solution to provide relief to our loved ones who were left out of the President’s executive action.

So we’re fighting back. We’re prepared to mobilize hundreds of thousands of Presente members across the country to push back on Tea Partinos like Ted Cruz and focus on what can and should be done to expand relief to undocumented families. But we need your help.

Ted Cruz’s crusade against immigrants has one purpose — he wants to push the entire Republican party to do everything in its power to roll back the President’s executive action. He’s already blasting his party leaders for not being tough enough on the President.

But we’re not going to stand by and let Ted Cruz and his Tea Party cabal hold the debate on immigration hostage to xenophobic extremism. We’ve already started to warn Republicans and Democrats of the political consequences they’ll face in 2016 if they allow anti-immigrant rhetoric to dominate the decisions they make. We recently released a poll showing that Latino voters support the President’s executive action by wide margins and that they will support candidates that stand behind providing relief for immigrants.3, 4

But if we want to stop Tea Partinos like Ted Cruz, then we’ll need more than polling. We’ll need to run radio and T.V. ads, and take the fight directly to the districts of anti-immigrant politicians. Heck, we’re even looking into resurrecting our rotten tomato campaign. But in order to do this, we need your support.

Thanks, and ¡Adelante!
